This presentation provides insight into the recent and future operational environment and the challenges that may be present in ocular injury care. The presentation is divided into 4 parts that include an overview of the Vision Center of Excellence’s capabilities and resources, the analysis of combat and non-combat eye injuries, recent and future conflict profiles, and present and future ocular trauma care.
