Vision Care Services Coordination (VCSC)

The treatment of complex ocular injuries and diseases often require multiple eye care specialists working in coordination with each other. The VCE manages a program of Vision Care Services Coordination (VCSC) to examine this issue and aid in the coordination of eye care for MHS patients. VCE's eye care service coordinators are located at several military treatment facilities throughout the MHS. They work with the providers, nurses, cases managers, and ancillary staff to facilitate coordination of eye care for MHS patients.
