Alexander T. Augusta Military Medical Center Welcomes New Leader

Troop Command, Walter Reed National Military Medical Center was redesignated the Medical Readiness Brigade, National Capital Region, during a ceremony June 30 at Naval Support Activity Bethesda, which also saw the leadership of the unit change hands.

Walter Reed National Military Medical Center unveiled its new single-port robotic surgical system, becoming the first Department of Defense facility and the first military hospital in the National Capital Region to use the newly Food and Drug Administration approved medical device.

Walter Reed Facility Dog, U.S. Marine Corps Gunnery Sgt. Dillon, was honorarily promoted to Master Sgt. by U.S. Marine Lt. Col. Walter Reed Makes it Easy to Dispose of Prescription Drugs Year-Round
