Clinical Practice Guidelines

Clinical Practice Guidelines (CPGs) are essential evidence-based tools used to eliminate practice variance and disseminate best practice guidelines to providers. These guidelines are developed through subject matter expert consensus and robust literature reviews to ensure the information provided reflects best practice instruction. CPGs are intended to guide providers through the assessment and/or treatment of conditions or injuries and will be updated as often as necessary to ensure the guidelines reflect best practice. Removing practice variation and supplementing provider education has proven to increase satisfaction among both patients and providers with improved outcomes.
