State Resources

VCE developed this guide to assist Service members, Veterans, and their families in seeking blind and low-vision resources. This guide is meant to be a compliment to the advice of your ophthalmologist, optometrist, and other eye care professionals. This resource is provided for your convenience, and is by no means a complete listing of blind and low-vision resources available.

Each resource has a descriptive summary, list of services provided, and any contact information that was available at the time of publication. The guide is organized by state, with resources listed by where they reside. Some resources may provide their services beyond their physical location.

The appearance of any non-U.S. Government resource in this guide does not constitute endorsement by VCE. VCE does not exercise editorial control over all the information you may find from these resources. Links to these resources are provided consistent with the purpose state above.

The inclusion of resources in this publication does not necessarily reflect the official policy or position of the Department of Defense, Department of Veterans Affairs, nor the U.S. Government. This work was prepared as part of official duties as U.S. Government employees and, therefore, is defined as U.S. Government work under Title 17 U.S.C.§101. Per Title 17 U.S.C.§105 copyright protection is not available for any work of the U.S. Government.
